My last day of work at the University of Lincoln will be on June 1st.
I will be moving on to bigger and more scarier things in the lovely Leicester.
From now until the 10th of July it will be all go…so many things to do so little time.

The Common Cold
Also known as: (viral upper respiratory tract infection (VURI), acute viral nasopharyngitis, acute viral rhinopharyngitis, acute coryza, or a cold). It is a contagious, viral infectious disease of the upper respiratory system, primarily caused by rhinoviruses, (picornaviruses) or coronaviruses.
And I have it! Its horrible, its snotty, and its ridiculously inconvenient. It makes you sneeze at the exact WRONG times, e.g. in a lecture room full of students in the middle of a lecture right when you need the name of a case, or when you’re having a one-to-one with your tutor and you have no tissue at hand, it makes your nose run constantly, and the most awful sound you can possibly make is coming out of your nose!
My process on learning HTML is verrryy slow. Its complex, confusing and c…c…c…complicated! In all honesty I have absolutely no idea what to do with it all. I’m viewing the source on nearly every webpage I look at and I’m just like…eh?! It reminds me of crazy alien writing that you might see in films. Kind of like when people go exploring and they come across all of the wall markings. The only difference is, someone is normally able to read them…I’m NOT that person!! Oh my goodness me…
Learning HTML
Hmmm…slightly confuddling but there we go!
I’ve had a little look around and I’m going to start a tutorial on Friday.
Had a lovely little tattoo on Saturday. It hurt like Hell!! I will never ever ever have another one on my back.
It reads: ‘The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return’ and its origin is brilliant! (only just thought to look it up though!)
I thought it was from the film Moulin Rouge (well it is) but it was originally from a song called ‘Nature Boy’ by Eden Ahbez which was used for the film Moulin Rouge. I bet most of you already knew that!

This Week…
…hasn’t been the best.
I got my first out of five assignments back and I wasn’t very happy. Quite gutted if I’m perfectly honest. It was one of my favourite ones that I wrote aswell, I really enjoyed writing it and I did PANTS! I don’t think I want my others back. Coursework is supposed to be my strength too, I normally rely on my marks from my written work so if I do ever do terrible on exams my coursework mark will bump it up a little. This is my final year and I don’t want to ‘flunk it’ (as my dad would say!) OH PANTS!!
My partner is struggling to walk because he has shin splints. They don’t sound too nice…what are they exactly?! Apart from being extremely painful!!
Are there any home remedies that might help them get better so he doesn’t have to pay £36 a session for people sticking pins in his legs or squeezing them so he screams?
BUT…last night at the youth club we did have a Tropical Animals show which was pretty Fab! He brought in snakes, birds, cute little meerkats, a scorpion and a spider =D The kids loved it, it was brillaint.
And and and…at the end when the kids had gone the guy let his meerkats out again and let them run around us. Never ever been so close to a meerkat so i could touch it before, they’re adorable and they really do look so much like Timon from the Lion King. (One of them was called Timon aswell!)

28th May – Leona Lewis Concert in Sheffield (21st birthday present from partner)
8th June – Portugal (the algarve) for a week with partner
16th June – Partner’s 21st birthday
19th June – Cyprus (paphos) with parents and brother for 11 days (21st birthday present from mum and dad)
10th July – end of tenancy in student house
Get exams out of the way first then i’ll be freeeeeeeeeee!!!

Happy New Year Everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas.
Christmas day for us was hilarious. Max opening his presents was brilliant to watch. He was bought a new bed for his main present and then treats and toys. His favourite is a teddy duck, he likes to push its tummy with his nose to make it quack!
My brother and I however, spent most of our Christmas playing on the Nintendo Wii on a game I was given as a present – ‘Just Dance’. For any of those who don’t know what it is, the clue is in the title! Its a dancing game where you can compete against each other to win points. My younger brother won…alot!!
First day back at work today…its a killer!! I miss my lie-ins already!!

I’m Back =)
Well I’m back from my 2 weeks dogsitting. It was a good but exhausting 2 weeks!
This is the adorable 2 and a half year old dog I looked after for my mum and dad while they were away.
Absolutely gorgeous isn’t he?
He’s the funniest dog I think I’ve ever known. He sits in a chair like a human does and falls asleep like that aswell! And he’s terrified of little dogs, he’ll run away from them yet he’ll go and cause trouble with dogs bigger than him!
I’ve now moved into my new student house aswell. I moved in there on the 8th of this month and its a nice little house. We went to view it at the beginning of the year and it was the nicest we saw and now they’ve fitted a whole new kitchen, new leather sofas and a new tv so its even better!!
I’m also trying to find some work experience but I’m having no luck at the minute. I’ve sent letters out to solicitor’s firms in and around Lincoln but they have all said that they don’t have anything available. Its so so hard especially when we get told from our tutors that its important you get atleast some work experience and do some volunteer work. I’ve sent out letters since I started at Lincoln 2 years ago and I still haven’t found anything, so the pressure really is on and I’m running out of ideas now!
Cracking on with my report as well, about half way through now =) Might be done by the end of the week, beginning of next.
